Where Is It ("the App", "we", "our", or "us") is a home inventory management app developed by XtraMo. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

• Account information: When you register, we collect your name and email address. Passwords are stored in hashed form and never in plain text.
• Inventory data: Items, locations, quantities, descriptions, barcodes, expiry dates, and any other details you enter into the app.
• Photos: Images you attach to items are uploaded to and stored on our secure server.
• Sharing data: Email addresses of family members you invite to share your inventory.
• App preferences: Settings such as language, theme, and color palette are stored locally on your device.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the app's core features (inventory management, search, sharing).
• To authenticate your account and keep your data secure.
• To enable family sharing — your inventory data is visible to members you explicitly invite.
• To send you password reset or verification emails when requested.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the app.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on a secure server hosted by GoDaddy (USA). All communication between the app and the server is encrypted via HTTPS. We apply standard security practices to protect your data against unauthorized access.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties, except:

• Family members you invite: They can view and edit your inventory.
• Hosting provider (GoDaddy): Our server infrastructure. They do not access application data.
• Legal requirements: If required by law, we may disclose data to authorities.

5. Third-Party Services

The app uses the camera and photo library on your device for barcode scanning and photo attachment. These features use standard platform APIs and no data is sent to third parties. The app may open external URLs in your browser; those sites operate under their own privacy policies.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing support@xtramo.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

Where Is It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights

9. Changes to This Policy
